Walter Graff - Field Producer

Walter has worked on numerous broadcast and non broadcast programs as a Field Producer for the last 15 years.

In the mid to early 1990's Walter reinvented the term "Field Producer" while working on eight syndicated daytime talk programs such as Ricki Lake, Gordon Elliot, and Charles Perez. As field producer for talk television, Walter was one of the first of this generation to not only produce, but to shoot and edit everything he produced. This set the stage for what is considered the normal requirement for the role of field producer today. Walter's background as a successful cinematographer allowed him not only to envision his piece but to shoot it, all while producing it, with fantastic results both visually and content-wise.

Walter's work during the talk-show craze of the early nineties is considered by many of his peers to be the pre-curser to today's reality television programming as his style of verite captured people doing what they do best, in real world situations. today we take for granted this unique introspection so common in today's non-scripted programming.

Walter has since fine tuned his talents as field producer to make effective and engaging pieces that cover all genres from the dramatic, to social exposes, to comedy.
