Diane Oates

Diane Oates is an Emmy award winning producer and writer, with nearly twenty years of broadcast television experience. She began her career as a production assistant for a documentary film unit at WABC-TV in New York City. Her distinguished work soon earned her a promotion to producer and director. While at WABC, she worked on a variety of programming including public affairs, news and entertainment.

Seizing an opportunity to travel the world and obtain international experience, Diane joined ABC Sports where she produced features for the 1988 Winter Olympics. She later went on to cover the 1988 Summer Games in Seoul, Korea.

Diane settled back in the US where she has brought her expertise at writing and producing to major broadcast and cable networks, studio production companies, and corporate clients. Today she is producing programs and writting news segments for WABC. She also teaches a college writting course.

Diane lives in New York City.
